Standards

Find detailed instructions on setting up an Intertek Inform account, as well as locating, requesting, viewing, and downloading Australian and international standards.

Searching for ISO, IEC and NSAI standards

International standards ISO, IEC and NSAI are not part of our Intertek Inform subscription but can be added to the database by supplying a WBS cost code.

  1. Log in to Intertek Inform.
  • Enter your email and select Next.
  • Enter your password and select Log In.

  1. Search for the standard using either the document number, document title or keywords.

  1. Locate the relevant standard and select the title from the results list. Note that older versions will contain the Status 'superseded'.

  1. Click on Request Access.

  1. The cost of the standard is displayed (minus GST).

Enter your WBS code in the 'Note' field and click Submit.

  1. The library will check to see if an equivalent standard is already available. If it is, we will contact the requester to confirm its suitability. If it is not suitable, we will process the request.
  2. The PDF is then added to Intertek Inform and the requester is notified via email.
  • To download a standard follow the instructions for using Vitrium software.
  • Downloaded files are locked to your device for the life of the subscription (30 Jan 2025 - 29 Jan 2026).
  • Standards can also be printed
Note: These standards are made available to everyone at CSIRO with an Intertek Inform account for the subscription period (30 Jan 2025 - 29 Jan 2026).
