Frequently asked questions

Q: How many users can access the same standard at the same time?

A: Two (2) users can View Online or Download the same standard at the same time. If all licences are in use you will see the following message: 


Q: I've downloaded a standard onto my device. How long can I keep it?

A: The standard will remain active on your device for the life of our subscription (30 Jan 2025 – 29 Jan 2026).


Q: Can I download or print standards with my annotations?

A: Annotations you make to the Downloaded version of a standard can be printed. You can’t print from the View Online screen but any annotations you make will remain there, even after logging out.


Q: I've downloaded a standard into my browser but it gives me an error message and the file won't open.

A: Standards can't be opened in a browser, so go into your Downloads folder, find the file and choose Open with Adobe.


Q: Are draft standards accessible through Intertek Inform?

A: Draft Australian standards are available to view and download immediately. Draft international standards will require a purchase.
