It is important to save and backup or sync your library periodically following the steps outlined elsewhere in this guide. This allows you to recover your library should it become corrupted or your lose access to your device. Following this process will also allow you to replace your device without potentially losing access to your Library. Attempting to use a Library that has been imaged and restored through the process carried out when acquiring a new device may cause files and references to no longer work as they did with your Library while it was hosted on your previous device. If you are able to we would recommend leaving moving devices until you have finished any writing using Cite While You Write to minimise the chances of disruption.
