Tags

Tags are customisable labels that you can use to organise your references.

You can create up to 7 tags, and assign multiple tags to a reference.

Creating, using and deleting tags

To create a tag:

  1. Click on the Tags menu, and select Create Tag.

  2. The Create Tag dialog box will appear. Enter the name for your tag, and select a colour (7 choices), then click the Create Tag button.

  3. Once created, your tags will appear in the MY TAGS section. The number of references associated with each tag are noted and can be displayed.

To add a tag to a reference:

  1. Select the reference that you want to tag in the Reference List panel.
  2. Right click on the selected reference, and select Manage Tags.

  3. In the Manage Tags dialog box, you can create and/or select tags, then click OK.

  4. The assigned tags should now be attached to selected reference.

  5. The number of references associated with each tag are noted in the MY TAGS section and can be displayed.

To remove a tag from a reference:

  1. Select the desired reference.
  2. Right click on the selected reference, and select Manage Tags.
  3. In the Manage Tags dialog box, click on the Clear Tags button to remove all the tags assigned to the reference, or click on the X to the right of a tag to remove individual tags from the reference.

To delete a tag:

Your tags will appear in the MY TAGS section.

  1. Click on the tag to select it.
  2. Right click on the selected tag, then select Delete Tag.
